Quiltfest On the Mississippi 2008

Quiltfest on the Mississippi has gained a reputation of offering dazzling quilts to its viewers since its inception in 1986. It is held in the beautiful La Crosse Center, 300 2nd Street, La Crosse WI 54601, next to Riverside Park and the scenic downtown area. It is one of the largest judged quilt shows in the Coulee Region and draws viewers from the TriState area and beyond. It will showcase over 250 quilts for your viewing pleasure ranging from bed sized quilts to quilted wall hangings to fiber art displays.

The Quiltfest boasts featured lectures, demonstrations, silent auctions, a boutique, and a merchant mall with over 20 vendors. An interesting addition will be our guild's yearly challenge. Special events add to this exciting weekend which will celebrate the beauty of the quilting arts in the midst of autumn colors in the beautiful bluff area surrounding the Mississippi River.
