La Crosse Area Quilt Guild invites anyone interested in quilting to join us for a meeting. Our general meetings are listed below. We hope to see you soon!

Business Meeting and Program
4th Tuesday of each Month – except August and December
7 - 9 pm, Days Hotel on French Island, Mississippi River Room

Note: We do not hold a regular meeting during the months of August and December. During August we hold our annual Banquet. A drawing for two quilts to be given away is held that evening. During December we hold our annual Holiday Banquet.

Annual Banquet - 2011

The La Crosse Area Quilters held its annual summer banquet on August 23, 2011 at the Onalaska American Legion. A wonderful supper and social time was enjoyed by all. The Guild drew the names of two lucky quilters who each won a quilt. These quilts were made by the two winners in 2010.

The theme for the Challenge Project for 2011 was “Pineapples”. Members who chose to participate received fat quarters of a fabric that had to be prominently featured in each item they made. Using their vivid imaginations, the entrants came up with a fascinating variety of projects ranging from a bed-sized quilt to wall quilts, a purse, and an actual pineapple. Members of the guild voted on the projects in four categories. And the winners were:
